On 6 June 2014, the Decorative Arts section on the primary floor of the Cour Carrée’s northern wing opened after complete refurbishment. The Louvre has been closed on Tuesdays, and habitually open to the basic public the relaxation of the week aside from some holidays. The Loveland Museum received accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums. Less than 5% of the museums in the United States are accredited, and the Loveland Museum is certainly one of solely three accredited institutions in Northern Colorado.
